Cover of "To Move A Piano"

In mid 2018, one of my friends Dan Calnan contacted me to illustrate a cover for his poetry collection "To Move a Piano". I was tasked with interpreting the title poem and eventually settled for a surreal spiral piano staircase. Using saturated colors and an emphasis on simple geometry, I recreated the aesthetics of the old math books my friend and I have an affinity for to give it a personal touch.
