Summary:
Initially the new Field House was planned as a modular structure with strictly pragmatic use. The architectural analyst showed the potential for the building to be a key organizing element for the entire sport complex of the college, reinforcing the connection between the two parts of the campus along the pedestrian axis. The selected location allows for utilizing a vacant land, direct access to all sports fields, and views from public areas to the fields. The proposed shade structure provides protection for the open observation areas located on the roof while in the same time brings an artistic element to the building, corresponding to its role as a focal point of the campus composition.
