Oganyo Brand Design
Creation of the Oganyo brand, a gastronomic restaurant in Valencia. The character of his signature cuisine, Karlos Moreno, has been the source of inspiration for the project.Oganyo's brand is mixed, open and eclectic. It has been created to convey all those contrasting values that enrich the chef's kitchen, through a typeface designed exclusively for the occasion and that includes the development of the complete alphabet. The origins and culinary tradition represented through the circle and curved shapes coexist together with the square and straight shapes that evoke the avant-garde and modernity. Both values, past and present, combine to show a formal miscegenation, where each letter has its own personality. As in Karlos dishes that change and are not repeated to suit the seasonal product. That diversity is further reinforced by mixing upper and lower case. At the chromatic level, the sober and elegant black respects and emphasizes the forms as great protagonists.The symbol, fully integrated between the letters, represents the union of the “ñ” and the “ny” (its Valencian counterpart) as a multicultural nod, a tribute to the fusion of Extremadura roots and Basque culinary influence together with the presence of Valencian Mediterranean cuisine. The symbol is one more feature that adds character, a banner of the passion and daring of this great signature cuisine.
