Voices: My Creative Journey

Introduction:
The task at hand was to create a visual story based on our individual lives and what lead us to wanting to become artists. This assignment gave us an opportunity to help us become more self aware and gain more knowledge about ourselves that we didn't know about. The purpose of this project was to learn how to create a great story learning how to balance the music, tone of voice, etc.
Materials:
Hardware - Mac, iPad
Software - Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Spark, Adobe Draw, Adobe Photoshop
Platforms - Adobe Creative Cloud, Behance
Creative Process
Audience: Anyone looking for inspiration (ages 14+)
Purpose: To inspire those who feel as if they don't have any artistic abilities at all and to show anyone that anything is possible as long as you put your mind to it.
Importance to me: This is important to me because for my journey I never believed in my artistic skills but I still pulled through and stuck to my hopes and dreams so hopefully I can inspire even one person to keep going even if you feel as if there's no hope.
Audience Reaction: I hope that the audience really feels my story and really understands my story and where I have come from. I want my audience to feel inspired, happy after watching my video, I want my project to inspire people to do better for not only themselves but anyone in anything.
Hook: Going from doing arts as a kid to not touching art for a couple of years.
Dramatic Elements: When I didn't believe I had the artistic abilities or skills to go into College.
Tone: Friendly, Enthusiastic, Welcoming, Casual.
Past:
Creative Influences: My older brother and sister inspired me to draw and they were important to me in my earlier stages because they always encouraged me even if I wasn't the greatest artist.
Earliest Creative Accomplishment: My earliest accomplishment I remember was when I was about 8 years old and I re drew a scene from my favourite show at the time (Pokemon) and I brought it to my class for show and tell and all of my classmates said it was amazing.
Early Challenges on Choosing My Own Path: Earlier on in my life I never would've thought that I would be doing what I was doing right now, mainly because I didn't think this career path was an actual career path. I really had no idea on what I wanted to do in my life from when I was 5 up to when I was 16 years old. But besides all of that I always had a passion for video games because I was always surrounded by it, it was always there for me when I was feeling lonely and it even brought me some of my fondest memories in my life which is why I knew I wanted to create that same feeling for someone else in life.
Career Inspirations: Like I said both of my older siblings inspired me to begin drawing but my sister was always there for me, pushing me always telling me I can literally do whatever I want and if it wasn't for her I wouldn't be where I was today.
Present:
Affect To My Life: My interests have changed everything around me enormously because my family sees me as an artist and always help me to become more creative. Also, even in my everyday life I see things differently such as colours.
Creative Philosophy: "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take," (Michael Scott), which means you'll never know if you'll fail at something if you don't try it.
How has school challenged you creatively? So far this program has pushed me and helped me gain more confidence in things I always knew I could do all along.

Future:
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? I see myself finished school designing for a gaming company, enjoying and loving my job and working my way to the top.
What important lesson have you learned thus far? Knowing that everyone is there to help you and you nothing is impossible, you can do anything you want.

Step 1: I wrote a script down to help format my story
Step 2: I created my animations for my story
Final Step: With my created my animations I added them into the order I wanted them to and recorded my voice over with also using the appropriate background music
