A school assignment about designing a folder for a car-convention based on the veteran car Citroën 2CV.
The folder is supposed to reach out to collectors and enthusiasts and to do that I chose to go back to the hip,
bohemian, 70's inspired look to appeal to the people groving up with a 2CV, or had some sort of connection to it back then.
By shaping the folder as an vintage suitcase using playful colours and suitable fonts I hope to appeal to the people who used to travel by car with their friends and family and with their suitcases packed on the car roof.
I wanted to create a positive, nostalgic feeling about the folder, but at the same time make it practical. The folder itself is pocket sized, but I added a small removable card with a simplified map and the convention program that fits perfectly into a vallet, in case the folder is unavailable.
