Seven Deadly Sins: Sloth - Abstract Art

As part of our "Art Direction in Advertising - II" module during the fourth semester of our course in Visual Communication design at Whistling Woods International by Priyankar Gupta we were to abstractly signify one of the "Seven Deadly Sins" of Christianity. These are my depictions of the sin "SLOTH".

Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work. It may be defined as absence of interest or habitual disinclination to exertion. The word "sloth" is a translation of the Latin term acedia (Middle English, accidie) and means "without care".
Idea behind each artwork (Left to Right):
Artwork 1: the idea was to make the eyes lethargic on seeing the artwork
Artwork 2: the idea was that "everyone's part of a system similar to blocks in a chess board but there's one block that's lazy and leaning on to others"
Artwork 3: as explained before "sloth" means "without care", so I placed the shapes randomly without giving any actual thought.
Artwork 3: it is said the punishment in Hell for committing this sin is that "You'll be thrown into snake pits." So I depicted that idea.
