THE UVC HUB
The UVC Hub is an escalator handrail sterilizing product. It works by eliminating germicides and bacteria from an
escalator handrail using UVC technology. UVC light is part of the ultraviolet light spectrum that is filtered out by the earth’s atmosphere. The “ C” stands for the particular frequency of UV light that kills germs. UVC light has been proven to kill up to 99.9% of germs with only a few seconds of light exposure.
WHY?
One of the most common ways that germs spread is via indirect contact. This is when a person touches an inanimate object and leaves behind potentially harmful bacteria, and then another person touches the same area, possibly picking up the same bacteria and receiving a flu/cold/virus.
