Another student project to create a poster about an amazing designer, in his or her "style". I got Alexey Brodovitch who was my hero before I knew who he was. The father of modern editorial design, Brodovitch was the Art Director of Harper's Bazaar around the turn of the century. The image is from Richard Avedon, who Brodovitch raised up from a little known photographer to, well ... Avedon. It was only appropriate to use an Richard Avedon photograph since he created many of the most memorable fashion photographs ever!
