Where to live if you're young | BBC

Developed by BBC Newsbeat and the Data Journalism team, Where to live if you're young analyses 378 local areas in the UK according to 11 different categories to tell which places are the best to live if you're under 26. The data looks at the number of bars, pubs, clubs and music events in each local authority, as well as access to sports facilities and 4G. The research also carried out a poll of more than 1,000 people to ensure that the categories checked in the study were relevant for them.

Where to live if you're young includes two different interactives:

1 - Know Your Place
An interactive map lets users check how their local area performs in the categories evaluated.

2 - Find your ideal place
A second interactive tool lets user choose which categories are more or less important to them, and then shows them which three areas match best with their search.
