Arrow Song: music video

"Arrow Song" Music Video, 2018
Combining animation techniques by different artists including hand-painted forms, cut and folded paper, frame-by-frame in-camera drawing, and digital techniques, this loose narrative visualizes music from track 6 (The Arrow Song) of Micromasse's album "In What Remains." The remix (with sung poem) is currently in the early stages of production.

This video was a collaboration between myself (the-ink-spot, animation and editing), the band Micromasse, lightbox animations from Amelia Hundt, and the cut-paper animations of several artists from Bomb Diggity Arts (a community support program for artists of all abilities). We envision this collaboration to be the beginning of a series called Drawn to Sound,  connecting local musicians and artists to support additional partnerships and help more artists realize their own collaborative projects.

Stay tuned for future Drawn to Sound animation collaborations in the works!
