The Whopper Builder - D&AD New Blood Awards - Burger King
The main premise of 'The Whopper Builder' is to allow the users to “Build your own Whopper”, they would begin on the official BK Instagram page, and be linked to each other page after choosing their toppings. Using the “tag” feature on the site, each topping would need to have its own profile, where the large photo would be uploaded that in turn would be topping specific for whatever the user has chosen.

For the video walk through example, the user had chosen to add every topping on the burger, aside from the 5th topping, Lettuce, this was done to show a variation on the idea and how it would work - only showing what toppings each user has shown. The final page being the QR code that is what the user would use to redeem their personalised Whopper. The next step to this being inputting your QR code onto the Burger King website and selecting a time slot for you to go into your nearest store, to have your Whopper burger ready and waiting for the user to pick up. This, however, would need a lot of further research as it would bring up other points such as the user not being able to make it in to receive their Whopper resulting in wasted burgers, and whether or not the user would be able to go back at a later date to redeem one more time. However, this is something to look into, for example, if the idea was to ever be produced for real for example.
