Bagnolet and Montreuil : Gentrification on the move
Home, sweet home.
Bagnolet - Avenue Gallieni - "Le Petit chez Soi"
Bagnolet and Montreuil are two towns of Seine Saint Denis consisting of working-class districts. They are representative of the diversity of French society and they carry with them the long history of the working class and social migration. Located at the gates of Paris they are under real estate pressure which aims to spread the working classes for the benefit of the middle and upper classes. This series is a snapshot of a few streets in these cities before that gentrification would destroy habitat, a lifestyle and a symbol of the reality of the confrontation of classes.

There are still companies employing manual workers in this street. How long still?
