What can old cities offer today? Who loves the city? Who escapes from them? Why, despite of everuything, is it worth to STAY IN THE CITY? First of all, Toruń inspired us. It’s a city, where you can feel authentic gothic. It is a well-known place by tourists, but not so commercialized. Not even overrated, but honest. A perfect place to live, aspecially for young&active people. How would look like a possible house in historical, condensed urban landscape? Toruń is a hanzeatic town, with rich tradition of trade, which had flourished mostly in the middle ages. The track of history is  a well maintained urban structure - till nowadays we can see gothic merchant tenements along old streets.  Those “Moving temenets”, quot prof. Jan Tajchman, master of monumental conservation, had been developing through the ages, customizing to the users’ needs. Our project is the next stage of this movement.  As mentioned type of building, our house IS PROGRESSIVE - makes historical urban structure more condensed - as well expands with inhabitants’ needs.
