Poyin, a relative small factory which makes cooking and baking equipment from Argentina with more than 50 years in the local market. Nowadays they make 2 types of ovens. The “convector” which only cooks with dry heat and the “Masterchef” which beside dry heat is also able to cook with vapor.
Both ovens have a similar graphic identity inspired from long ago in Fagor products (another factory from Spain which has a good relationship with Poyin). The convector with red tones in representation of the heat and the masterchef with blue tones in representation of the vapor. Both share an oval shape in representation of the “moving wind” generated by the turbine it´s got inside.

Final design
Using the previously designed frontal panel, and in constant communication with the electronics and dashboard suppliers we came to a mid-point where de CPU motherboard and the acrylic PCB where easily developed.
Later, a little adjust on the name had to be made due to copyright issues, so it was renamed to just "Poyin Touch" and a backlight to the name was added as a vintage resemblance to the very first "Spiedo oven" made by the the owner of the company 50 years ago.
Asking to the home service technicians from the plant they told us a common problem from the previous oven masterchef was that the cleaner or water sometimes filters through the silicone they use during the assembly process to paste the front panel in its place and damages the PCB. So considering this is a more delicate oven than the masterchef it was necessary to make it somehow “waterproof”. That´s why it was developed a seal and its casting mold. This seal also works for the masterchef oven as both share the same front panel base structure.
From here, all the parts from the oven had to be drawn to make an assembly of more than 280 individual components
Finally, once the full 3D Assembly was done, it was necessary to divide it in sections for the spare parts catalogue, from the gas burning system, the chassis, the electronic components, and inside mechanisms.
In the end this project inspired a "Facelift" on all the existing products including the Convector Oven.
