This summer, I took two months off to backpack through Asia. These photos were taken at the Batu Caves right outside Kuala Lumpur.
The caves are home to the most popular Hindu shrine outside of India and can only be reached by climbing a flight of 272 steps.
It was surreal to share the steps with monkeys.
