Hans Holbein's Dance of Death (1538) inspired my linocut practice greatly. I wanted to develop my skills and techniques with an exercise in imitating one of the prints, carved by Hans Lützelburger (said to be one of the finest blockcutters of his day). The print is approximately 11.5cmx15.5cm.
