Senior Branding Project | Hikari Sushi Station
For my senior project in design school, we had to create a brand. I chose to do a kaiten (moving conveyor belt) sushi restaurant called Hikari Sushi Station. I was influenced by the bright neon lights and personality of Tokyo, and wanted the brand to be bright, fun, and dynamic. I was also influenced by the bold headlines and fonts of the Russian Constructivism design movement. In a semester, I did research and created a logo, gifs, posters, stickers, menu & brochure, letterhead/business cards/envelope, packaging, and an environmental display for my senior thesis show.
