PAN'S LABYRINTH
This was designed for Secret Movie Club and screened on 35mm at the Vista Theater in Silverlake which is in Los Angeles.
I liked the idea of the young girl (Ophelia) descending down into a magical realm from a more realistic world. In re-watching the film I realized how little time was given to the magical scenes in the film even though these moments are what the film is most remembered.
