Jack Link's Corporate Offices, RSP Architects

Jack Link's has quickly become one of the world's largest protein snack companies.  Based in Wisconsin, they were looking to increase their presence in downtown Minneapolis by expanding their corporate facilities.
Jack Link's engaged RSP Architects early to assist with site selection and the development of design goals. Through interviews, surveys, and workshops we unearthed the 5 underlying themes that would inform this project: evolving their House of Brands, creating an immersive experience for all (from employees to the public), removing barriers to communication to foster innovation, balancing collaboration with personal space, and developing a "come as you are" environment where all are welcome.

Jack Link's chased their dreams of a single, central office space for their growing family by leasing 5 suites within Mayo Clinic Square. The challenge for our team was to develop a design concept that would unite these physically separated spaces while bringing their desire for connection to reality. The result was the concept of Jack's Place; where the 5 separate public thresholds became welcoming entries into the home of Jack Link's.
Materiality was key to the intimate and casual experience of the space. The RSP Environmental Graphics team developed architectural extensions of the brand to heighten the submersive Jack Link's experience.
Throughout the entire process of design, construction, and after move-in, RSP change management experts worked with the Jack Link's team to best understand their work processes, provide checks for the design, and develop the best transition strategies for the new space. My role as Design Coordinator was to provide a conduit for all the diverse disciplines utilized on this project to tap into the design intent and reflect their influence onto the success of the project.
