In this project, I created an editorial feature about decorating your home like a Swedish country cottage by finding different types of textiles at thrift shops. This way you can curate a unique cozy atmosphere in your home, both in the city and in the countryside.

For the initial stage of the project I sketched down my ideas for the different textiles to be included. I also wrote the descriptions of each type of product and what they would contribute with.

After inking the sketched composition, I scanned it and started playing with colors and used the paper's texture to help create the feeling of fabric.

At this last stage, I added my commentary and tinkered with the text's composition. My goal was to get the final product to be editorial-ready, so I went for the most compact layout. I also picked a font that would translate into the theme - countryside Swedish home.
