This was the birthday invitation that I created for my 21st birthday party two years ago. The venue was Moroccan themed so I called it Midnight in Marrakech which is the capital of Morocco. The party was in November which is the balmy end of spring and the beginning of summer in Australia so the bright warm colour palette was meant to reflect the weather and season. I used the geometric, ottoman style that's prevalent in the architecture of Morocco to create the repeating star pattern with gradients and textures to give it a more three dimensional look.
