This was portrait was done for a drawing class final. I chose to draw my a grandmother because of the sentimental value. Also to challenge my abilities observing detail and values.

I used the full range of graphite pencils and a variety of charcoal pencils for the darkest values. Other tools used included blending tortillons, q-tips, light table.
