There were 3 options to choose from, I went with British First's and as we have successfully held the first Paralympic Games in London in 2012, I thought it was only fitting to use that as a theme for the set of stamps.
As there were a lot of Gold medals won, I wanted to focus on the success of our British Athletes. So I chose 6 athletes, 3 women and 3 men, who all took part in different events. I used the colours from the Paralympic logo to re-create the british flag in the background and overlaid the photographic images.
The British flag in the background brings the individual stamps together as a set, but the photos used allow for the stamps to work well individually too.
