Lexyrose Boiardo is a fashion stylist and consultant living in New York City. Alfalfa Studio was asked to design a logo and stationery system that would represent Lexyrose as both an individual and a professional in the fashion industry. The logo had to speak to fashion publications and celebrities, while portraying the stylist's passionate and energetic character.

 

Under the creative direction of Rafael Esquer, I explored various styles, from playful to enigmatic, in continuous rounds of hand sketching. The result, a classy logo with a whimsical and illustrative touch, consists of a custom-made logotype and a monogram that was inspired by the "enchanted rose" from Disney's Beauty and the Beast. The details of rose elements and thorn-like serifs add personality to the simple elegance of the type.
