Stork Nursery Brand Identity
Brief
To brand a new baby store opening in Co. Wexford Ireland. I was approached by the owners to create a “fun”, “cute” and simple logo for the store to be named Stork Nursery.
Concept
From researching trends in the baby industry at the time, it was clear that the gender neutrality movement had created a shift away from the stereotypical baby colours as blue and pink. I wanted to show Stork’s brand personality through a simple and warm illustration of a stork.
Solution
The colour orange and tan were chosen to keep the brand gender neutral. A flat lined stork illustration along with the typeface Baby Lexi to enforce the “cute” feel to the store. Stork prints were used as decoration through out the branding. Brand guidelines, business cards and the store front sign were created along with a first baby checklist for first time parents that visited the store.
