Nemausus 2nd. century AD for National Geographic | Ideal reconstruction of the Roman city of Nemausus, the current city of Nimes in France. Its origins date back to the iron age, but between 120 and 117 BC was occupied by the Romans to secure the road to Hispania, expanding the city and its defenses and building its wonderful public and religious buildings, some of which are currently preserved in an exceptional condition. Made for the book collection National Geographic Archaeology (2018).
