For my Adobe Illustrator class we had to pick a picture of a famous person and then transform the picture into an illustration in Illustrator using the pen and pencil tools. Each color was supposed to be its own shape. I started off with this image of Melanie Martinez, a famous singer.

Using the pen and pencil tools I traced each shape that was a separate color using the original image as a template image. 

As I worked I added color to each individual shape. Eventually it led to this final product for my famous person illustration project.
