Description:
As a spare time project when i was an teachers assistent at Krabbesholm Højskole I participated in a student knifemaking workshop. I decided to make an ice axe, working on it in and after the workshop. The axe is handcrafted head and spike are made from welded scrap metal, slit into a shaft made of two fingerjoined pieces of mahogany, attached to the metal with four aluminium rivets.
