String Theory : Exhibited.

This was the FASA Faculty Of Applied Arts, final exhibition design. Having to build a base where all the weird things grow us perceived as the PLANTS , limited by a 2 square meter and unlimited height. The idea behind it was working together as one faculty we should end up forming a system that connects all plants and guide viewers through our garden.

Our group topic was String theory Quarks and other weird stuff. Research phase consisted of the “WOW” to sum up the whole experience,  the string theory was some sort of unifying theory grouping big and small having an example of the sun and the quantum mechanics as an example. Stating that strings is a fundamental part of the universe all maters of energy are made up of small vibrating strings. Which lead us on to things such worm holes, the black whole, The big bang theory and The theory of every thing. Through out our research we looked at time traveling each gate opened up our eyes to different dimensions such as the multiverse the parallel universe and a lot of different theories and perceptions ..some crazy point of views stating that the universe will freeze in a million years , and all humans will die giving us a death warrant..
We read all kinds of stuff The Quran, The bible nothing seems to have took us anywhere.

Since research at this stage wasn’t getting us anywhere other than a state of confusion here we agreed upon that WHY? Being our concept hence not being able to grasp upon any tangible information.

We decided to exhibit this state of confusion of not grasping onto anything . We used the stairways as our space having a very narrow long path mimicking  the illusion of having a dead end within this road the viewer had to experience several chapters having strings hung down as they climbed up the stairs, along with integrating touch sense along with other senses. Having a wide variety of material black light foam pockets etc.

We approached our idea in a make them wonder approach, some sort of teaser where we hung posters for people to get an idea of a certain vibe we wanted to pass on.
