ŠKODA AMAZING PARTS
In cooperation with ŠKODA Polska and a group of students from the School of Form, we created the Amazing Parts project. It was also an advertising campaign to enter the market of the new Octavia model. We dismantled the car in parts and focused on those that were distinguished by interesting sound.
In cooperation with ŠKODA Polska and a group of students from the School of Form, we created the Amazing Parts project. It was also an advertising campaign to enter the market of the new Octavia model. We dismantled the car in parts and focused on those that were distinguished by interesting sound.
All our work oscillated around the sounds we retrieved from the car. We built several instruments, recorded the image and sound of each object, composed pieces of music using only them as a sound samples and we designed an application that enabled playing your own melodies from Škoda Sounds.
The result of the design work was presented at the Motor Show 2013 in Poznań.
