I was in the middle of filming some corporate work, and hadn’t done anything particularly creative in a while I had felt, so I grabbed my housemate Jeff and we tried some very minimal lighting in the kitchen. We probably didn’t spend more than 10 minutes putting up the lights, a black blanket and some gels. I even forgot to shoot RAW. It was mostly just to try out some techniques and keep fresh but the photos turned out not bad so I ended up editing a few.

The same week I started writing a screenplay for a short film, I guess to start work on another passion project as I felt that’s what was missing in my life at this point. So now, seven days later, we already have some pre-viz, a first draft of the screenplay, and Jeff’s composed an early version of a song that could appear in the movie based on the inspo that’s been collected.
