Fruit for Thought :
The connection between art and science.
Fruit for thought is a very conceptual and thoughful piece, exploring the origin of knowledge and the split between the arts and science. Through out the book the idea of knowledge gets compared to an apple tree, which begins with a seed, the grows apart forming the roots and the canopy.
It then later look at this relationship through out the history of man kind, how the tree grew apart.
We often look at the tip of the root and the top of the canopy, and forget that everything began from one place and that is just plain curiosity.
