Mural for LinkedIn Bangalore
We hand painted these two murals for the cafeteria space for LinkenIn's office space in Bangalore. Each of the two walls is 40 feet by length and 14 feet by height . The concept of these murals were created with LinkedIn’s values and some of the unique aspects of Bangalore in mind. Public trasport does not ony link places, it connects people. It brings together the entire city in a shared platform and takes them to their individual destinations, making more connections with people and their diverse ideas along the way. Though modes of transport change with changing times, the essence of connectivity remains the same. The social beings that we are, public transport is symbolic of our shared co-existence. While Bangalore’s railway connects the city to the rest of the country, its relatively new Metro system has become part of the public’s everyday life.
While evolving identities of this city, from The Garden City to The Silicon Valley, are central to the metaphoric themes, the lakes and the urban infrastructure provide strong visuals of the landscape reality. Cultural diversity and changing lifestyles of Bangalore and its people are also represented in various details in this mural.

The panoramic scenes of Bangalore drawn in both the illustrations are imaginative and were conceptually planned out. Following are the stages of the sketching process before we drew and painted the illustrations on the wall itself.
