"The NEO ELECTRIC company have developed new filament technology which had enabled the production of a bulb which will emit a more powerful light using fraction (5%) of the amount of electricity used in contemporary designs. They have named the product: BRILLIANT".
The brief was to conceptualize and design the bulb, create a 3D model of design in Maya, then produce a motion graphics sequence which best demonstrates the aesthetic and technological innovation of the product.
Original Idea was to have this spiral image in the middle of the light bulb and the light would "Spiral" up lighting up the bulb.
Requirements was that the bulb had to be a screw fit, and that the palette for the sequence was limited to grayscale plus one additional colour. The company's logo had to feature in the final sequence along with the text "BRILLIANT" and "FROM NEO ELECTRIC".
