Karolina Horn's profile

23m Monohull Passenger Ferry

This 100% electric maritime vessel is intended to be operating within an urban public transportation system. It is silent and emits no pollutant during its crossings.

It has two decks available to passengers:

The main deck, fully accessible by people with reduced mobility, which has a largely glazed interior lounge, but also provides some space in the front part area for commuters accompanied by bicycles.

Whereas the upper deck consists of a small exterior space, where passengers can entirely enjoy surrounding sea views and a wheelhouse, which provides excellent visibility for both access ramps.

The shape of the hull and superstructure has been carefully studied to obtain minimal drag, which largely increases the autonomy of the ship. Having a very low environmental impact, boat’s design also wants to integrate with the surroundings - it stays simple yet elegant.
