Jackson, Wyoming Flag

Introduction: In this project I had to design a flag for a city or a place. I chose to create a flag for Jackson, Wyoming. They did not have a personal flag for the city so I thought that it would be a good choice.

For the flag, I chose to have a blue bottom that represents the many streams and lakes that can be found all throughout Jackson. The middle is white which represents the snow and has a red mountain that symbolizes the Tetons, a big mountain range in Jackson. It is red because that is the primary color of the logo of Jackson Hole. They are purposely not straight to try and replicate how the real Tetons look. I personally like that while others may not be as fond of it. I used simple triangles so the flag would look less complicated overall. The top is green to represent the grass and forests that are beautiful in the spring. Overall, the flag is meant to show the natural beauty of the location. It is supposed to make people want to travel to Jackson so that they may want to take a trip there.
