Zenit Arena is one of the most expensive stadiums in the world. The stadium was built from Kisho Kurokawa’s “The Spaceship” design; it has a sliding pitch and a retractable roof. It hosted 2018 FIFA WC’s group games as well as a Last 16 knockout match, a semi-final, and the third v fourth play-off.

Key Project Tasks:
Our task was to develop a preliminary concept of the wayfinding system for the Zenit Arena. First of all, we closely analyzed the plans of the territory and the stadium, the optimal traffic routes and accreditation zones, and compiled a list of the objects involved in the wayfinding system. Next, we proposed the industrial design of wayfinding elements and schemes for their location.
