Dear: An Introduction Kit

Dear is first bilingual zine for Asian teenage girls. Focusing on Asian-only content, style, faces, places and team, it is the first integral online girls media ranging from articles, interviews, to videos and podcasts in the long run.

Special columns by overseas writers who aren't Asians by heritage but appreciate the Asian culture is invited to contribute to the zine.
The project is conceptualised by This Is A Lokal Movement, a creative collective based in Indonesia as its second Activity (project).

This is Dear's introduction and media kit design, sent via e-mails in PDF format.
We have two formats in two languages. This is a mix from both as the difference is only the change of language.
English and Bahasa Indonesia difference

In a form of a bookmark sized magazine namecard in an ubiquitous shape, this is the small marketing campaign for the team and readers to utilise it as a 3-in-1 object: a bookmark, a reminder for all our magazine and social links, and getting featured in our zine for their photo submissions with the mark.

Dear marks:

Used as a branding tool,  for photos taken by readers// staff and to be shared and tagged around social media, seen below examples via Instagram.
