Creation of Label for a wine family (from entry level to premium). The wine comes from Mendoza, Argentina, and the concept was based in the Hydrography of the region.

The Name:

WADI (noun): (in certain Arabic-speaking countries) a valley, ravine, or channel that is dry except in the rainy season.

The Region of Mendoza:

There are no rivers, streams and other waterways within the territory of Mendoza. However, there are “dry” channels, temporary streams or “wadis” which are filled when there is a torrential rain in the foothills and in the Front Range of the Andes Mountains, as it often does in summer. On these occasions, the volume flow rate is surprising due to its violence and sometimes it gets out of control, causing floods that affect the city and the surrounding areas.

The Design:

The graphic lines are inspired by the floods that affect the region every year. The reserve level has embossing applied in those while in the Signature level, UV Varnish is applied. All levels share a foil detail in the shape of water drops.
