L’alimentation. On ne se rend pas forcément compte de la dimension globale que cet acte quotidien implique. En faisant ses courses, en décidant d’ingérer tel aliment plutôt qu’un autre, nous faisons des choix. Ceux-ci auront un impact sur notre santé, mais aussi sur l’économie de notre pays, ou encore sur l’environnement dans lequel nous vivons, ils sont le reflet d’une culture particulière...
Alors comment apprend t-on à opérer ces choix ? Comment apprend t-on à s’alimenter ? Pourquoi apprendre à s’alimenter ?
C’est, certes, quelque chose que l’on apprend tout au long de notre vie, mais qu’il me semble intéressant d’appréhender dès le plus jeune âge. En effet, ce que l’on apprend quand on est enfant participe à la construction de l’identité. C’est pourquoi j’ai choisi de m’intéresser à cet âge clé. Cette période de la vie m’amène à voir : comment apprend t-on à un enfant à s’alimenter ? Comment sensibilise t-on l’enfant à la question alimentaire ? (...)

Food. We do not necessarily realize the global dimension that this daily act implies. By shopping, by deciding to eat one food over another, we make choices. These will have an impact on our health, but also on the economy of our country, on the environment in which we live, they are the reflection of a particular culture... So how do we learn to make these choices? How do we learn to eat? Why learn to eat? It is, of course, something that we learn throughout our lives, but it seems interesting to understand from a very young age. Indeed, what we learn as a child participates in the construction of identity. That's why I chose to focus on this key age. This period of life leads me to see: how do we teach a child to eat? How do you make the child aware of the food issue? (...) How can design be a creative force in food learning?
