Dumfries & Galloway Blood Bikes is a charitable organisation set up by local volunteers to deliver essential blood and urgent medical supplies, in and out of hours, between hospitals and healthcare sites in South West Scotland and sometimes beyond. Working with what turned out to be a small army of volunteers, we created this photo, which was unveiled in September 2018 when they also won the Queen's Award for Voluntary Services.
