Middle school was when I initially became interested in bookbinding, after an art teacher showed us how to create our own sketchbooks. I bound a thick coptic stitched book that took me months and months to fill with drawings--and I've been in love with bookbinding ever since.
A lot of these books are a bit older; I spent much of the fall of 2016 trying to streamline the process of case-binding journals to put them up for sale. Since then, I have made a number of newer books in different formats, the likes of which will surely show up in a later project when I get around to photographing them. For now, enjoy this smattering.
(And did somebody say hand sewn headbands?)
(How about hand-painted covers?)
