Collage of Interests

My collage project is filled with interests and daily hobbies of mine. From music and media interests, to sports, and things and people I enjoy being around. As you explore the sections throughout the collage you'll notice that a large percent of the photos in this project have been edited. A couple of my favorite manipulations to this image are the warp tool used at the very bottom of the collage on the nature photos. This makes it look as if there are two layers of the world as an animated version of me is peeking through the hidden layer. The next editing trick I experimented with seems very simple, but it definitely can help enhance an image. Adding a stroke(border) to layers and items that you manipulate or tinker with. If you look at my name and Son Goku you will notice how defined the letters and Kamehameha wave look. Without an outer stroke added to either of these layers, the quality of these images would have dropped tremendously, especially considering that I pieced the Kamehameha wave together myself.
The final technique that I learned and love utilizing now would be making a layer within a layer. Looking at the South Park image, I'm going to show you something that you may have overlooked. If you look right above the South Park sign you will see a mini me right next to Kenny. I added my self in by selecting the South Park sign and making it into its own layer within the South Park image layer, therefore allowing me to add an object in front of the image, yet behind the sign. I used the same method in the festival image at the top of the collage to add in the Uzumaki family to the event.
