Ambigram design for "Mekupelet" Chocolate bar
an Ambigram is a word which is designed so that it can be read the same even when looking on it upside down. designing an ambigram, especially in hebrew, can be difficult, because you have to make sure that each letter is readable, well designed and of course - another letter when read upside down.
you can read it upside-down and it's still the same!
I chose an ambigram to be the logo of the "Mekupelet" chocolate bar because of the shape of it - which is the equivalent of the chocolate log. the folding chocolate made me think that branding this chocolate bar with an ambigram is a great concept.
I really enjoyed playing with the letters, stretching the form and size of the letters to make the precise shape which will be readable and well designed on both sides.
creating lettering in heberw can also be difficult, since the letters usually don't connect, even in handwriting.
