With potpourri, I created the word absorb to show how all water is sucked dry - pretty straight forward. However, potpourri is usually seen as a nice decoration, but this time I wanted to show a different point of view. The surrounding colours are desaturated to black and white, leaving the only colour within the letters itself  - thus, the potpourri are not only absorbing water, but colour as well.

Vagabonds have always intrigued me. We often see the homeless on the streets and automatically feel bad, but there are so many people that choose to live this kind of lifestyle, they find so much joy in roaming around. Thus, I wanted to covey this word with a number of found objects around my home. Although all the little items used may not be important, they all sit on top a black leather jacket, my way to convey a strong, clear mindset.
