_____

This way next was the Camberwell College of Arts BA Graphic Design Degree show in 2012. I was part of a small team that directed the design and identity for the show.

The posters showcases exhibitor items. Each person was asked to bring in a personal item that could either best represent them or their design practice. These were then photographed and used as a replacement to a business card, a subjective indentity and a possible conversation starter. All cards were displayed by the entrance, avaliable for visitors to take for contact details or as a parting gift.

Collaboration with Maria M Carrasco, Scott English, Louise Lynn & Miglena Minkova.
A characteristic Camberwell Graphics ensemble, displaying charm, confidence, craft, entrepreneurship, escapism, exuberance, irreverence, obsess-ivness, process-invness, tenacity and vision. It was a pleasure to have worked with them and now track their paths nationally and internationally.

As they embarked on a three-year journey, these young designers, still and moving image-makers, these thinkers and doers had few clear signposts. Yet now they confidently assert their direction. Charted here, their paths explore the: anxieties of the age, audible ambience, cultural context; fragility of identity, impossible, interior and exterior, journey; macro and micro, metaphor; nuance of memory, passing of time, perception of taboo; possession of objects; reach of optimism; resonance of moments and the search for answers.
