Ultimately, Tangkay aims to promote STEM among the ethnic minority (EM) community in Hong Kong as they are underrepresented in the STEM industry. To do so, we propose to provide better academic support for EM secondary students wanting to enter the STEM stream; to carry out technological simulations and other small activities involving the EM community to raise awareness and interest on the importance of STEM in today’s society; and to ultimately transform Hong Kong's education system into one that allows more creativity, innovation, and practicality.
