The Happiest Company in the World

Corporate culture has always been labeled as dull and ruthless, employees are always complaining about the repetitious tasks and lifeless work environment. This project explores how the online search giant, Google, took a different perspective of office life thus created an ambiance that has become a new model of company culture.
The title is written out nice and large on the poster to get viewers’ curiousity. It is followed by a question about viewers’ feeling, which instantly creates a relationship between the poster and viewers. Office tools are mixed with candies in suggestion of a fun and happy office environment.
A journey-like interactive flash animation walks the viewers through all the great perks Google offers to its employees. The animation starts with a greyscale “TV show” showing an ordinary workday routine. Then it jumps to a bright and colorful page which allows viewers to explore all the great perks by interacting with the animation.

Candies are served along with the presentation. Each candy is wrapped in a wrapper printed in one of the four Google logo colors. A question regarding work culture/ambiance is also printed on the wrapper. The little signage encourages viewers to take a candy and of cause, to deliberate the question.
