Egghead Research Logo

The fictional nonprofit requested a new brand identity, motion graphics and a website to compete with other nonprofit organizations.

Egghead Research Previous Logo and Name.
Above is Egghead Research's previous logo, the organization used a different name called, "Egghead Health". The chimerical client and myself decide to change nonprofit's name so it may have a better ring to it. We've decided on "Egghead Research" since the nonprofit organization focuses on delivery grants to research facilities. To begin the development process for the logo, a mind-map was implemented to begin brainstorming. From there, doodles and sketches for logo ideas and then digitally rendering it with chosen color palette and typography.

Three motion-graphics was created for Egghead Research's advertisement campaign. Below are three storyboards, each with a different subject: eating disorder, dementia and discovering medicine. 'Eating disorder' and 'Dementia' focus on the illness and 'Discovering Medicine' focus the importance to fund research.

Website and Social Media Presence
In order to have advertise your brand and have presence, online assets is needed such as a website and social media accounts. The website will be used as a home-base for users to visit and the social media accounts (Facebook, YouTube and Twitter) will be used as digital megaphones to announce news and events. The website is coded in HTML5/CSS3 to be responsive on any electronic device that uses a web browser. The website also features a 'donation form' and 'contact form', but it's meant for display only.

To visit the website, go to: www.bmunoz.design/thesis/

Below is the a photo from my sketchbook: wireframes for the website. The goal is to create a lightweight single page website for simplicity and to be user-friendly.

Having social media accounts is just as important as having a website. Social media is being used more and more by corporations, companies and nonprofit organizations as a platform to announce news, events, new products and commentary. The nonprofit's social media comps are displayed below.
