Lyrical Poster for Young the Giant's "Cough Syrup"
This is a poster representing the song "Cough Syrup" by Young the Giant . The lyrics were arranged in an illustrator document, ink jet printed on tracing paper which was then scanned. The background image was created by dropping red, brown and yellow inks into water over a preiod of time. This technique allowed for a natural gradient to appear; the process was then photographed and combined with overlaid text.
